This is the first step to your motorcycle training. These courses run 7 days a week on our own training area. The day starts at 8:30am and is an all day course (approx. 4pm finish). CBT Cost - ONLY £100
Gear Conversion
This is for a rider who completed their CBT on an automatic moped/scooter and now wishes to have formal training on the use of a geared machine. The course lasts 4 hours which includes a minimum 2 hours on our off road training area.

Restricted Licence (A2)
This is for riders who have completed a CBT, have a current CBT and wish to ride their machine without L plates (you will also need to have completed a motorcycle theory test). The length of this course is dependant on your ability. We can tailor the course to suit your needs, after attending an assessment session. The test for restricted licence is the same as the test for the Direct Access Scheme which consists of 2 modules.

Direct Access This is for riders aged 21 or over who wish to ride a larger machine (over 46.6 bhp). This course is dependant on your experience / ability. If you have a CBT you will need to attend an assessment session to determine the length of the course. Otherwise, we can train you with no experience at all.

All prices are inclusive of bike hire, insurance, practical test fees, fuel and safety equipment. A 'Pay as you learn' scheme is also available. No two riders are the same - courses can be tailored according to your needs, your availability and your requirements with costs adapted to suit.
Enhanced Rider Scheme
The scheme is beneficial to all bike riders who have a full motorcycle licence, no matter what size of bike, or the experience level of the rider. There is no test involved and you may not need to take any training if your skills are assessed as satisfactory. You will also earn discounts on your insurance as a result. CBT Instructor Training
Our 5 day course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to teach the theory and practical aspects of the CBT and ultimately the Cardington assessments. To enhance these skills and further your confidence we will support your training by encouraging you to observe and participate at a down-trained level in delivering CBT's at bike-moore. The more time you can be available the easier the Cardington assessment will be.
Through role play you will practice instructing students on how to ride as will as supervising other instructors (a key aspect for Cardington).
All instructor materials are included in the cost of the course, however be prepared for homework!!!

Direct Access Course
This 2 day course will give you the skills and knowledge needed to teach a rider moving up to a bigger bike. The course covers the theory element of familiarising the rider with the bigger machine (larger capacity), pre-set tasks conducted on site to help the new rider overcome riding / handling problems and covers the 12 on-road pre-set tasks (of which 3 will be used at Cardington).
